Frank,

Glad you like the idea. I spoke with another business owner this morning who is going to send an email-promo on Monday, touting a Black Friday call-in special for existing proposals (probably about 5-6 hours.

The religious title for the day after Christmas is Boxing Day. That also happens to be a Friday, so it would be a 'soft business day.' One could certainly promote a similar type of event, although if you repeat it, too often, then it loses value.

However, a pre-New Year promo, particularly if one has a scheduled price change has some lift.

At any rate, if you give the post=Thanksgiving promo a whirl, let us know how it works.

Great Idea !!

It may be a little late for this Black Friday. When would be the next " blackish"-type Friday to send out such a promotion? Would perhaps that dead week between Christmas and New Years? Would the people who arrange the meetings during the first quater be in?
