Bella Pictures shows the bride how to pose… good grief

Strike a pose
Professional wedding photographers will mostly roll their eyes at this interview by Jennifer Lefcourt, VP Business Development for Fox TV Los Angeles from last year.
Another DIY situation, explaining to brides with two different body types how to pose to look their best. It looks like a bad Junior League Fashion Show Model Training session.
Suffice it to say, my view is that setting the pose is something done by a wedding photographer, taking into account the bride’s individual body type, her dress, the lighting, and the context of the shot. Probably more issues I haven’t thought about.
Just as in the previous post about ‘money saving tips,’ Lefcourt leaves planned confusion about the fact that she works with Bella Pictures and/or The Wedding Channel. When the interviewer mentions The Wedding Channel, and says “You’re a busy gal,” Lefcourt doesn’t tell her or the audience that she does not currently work for them. She just utters mild giggle, leaving the impression, ‘Yes I am busy,’ inferring the credibility of still being part of The Wedding Channel.
She was a co-founder of The Wedding Channel, but was no longer with them. Lefcourt was not giving neutral business advice to brides, she was shilling for Bella Pictures.
Oh there’s more, but why listen to me when you can see it for your self.
Can you believe this junk?

I LOVE the pic with the nose! Thanks for the info on this “charming” woman
Put your hands on your hips and turn. That’s all you need to do! LOL! What a pro!
Nothing about depth perception and blocking?

WOW! WOW!.
Good move Bob Davis!

Susan,
Thanks for your post. A lot of people are singing Bob’s praises. He’s got to feel good about that.

It’s obvious you’ve never been a bride. I would have liked my photographer to have taken the time to pose me. You trust that he knows his tech stuff. The gal on the tape is talking to brides, not photogs.
Sounds like catty, jealous chatter
