The Importance of Social Media to YOU, in 5 minutes or less

PinExt The Importance of Social Media to YOU, in 5 minutes or less

After spending a couple of weeks ‘on the road,’ speaking about Social Media Strategies, it was practically all that inhabited my brain. Then, I came across this little gem on You Tube, titled Social Media Revolution.

It made many of the same points that am continually hammering home, with some added statistics to back it up.

A whopping 4 minutes and 22 seconds. Worth every moment.

    Great video, Andy!

Very interesting and amazing statistics (and a little scary too!). Definitely emphasizes the importance of keeping up and utilizing these vehicles and not ignoring them as a “passing fad…”

    Thanks!

    really great info…
I was late to the party on the whole “social media marketing” thing.
Based on the theory that, since facebook replaced myspace in a matter of a couple of years…. who’s going to replace facebook?? or what’s going to be “the next big thing”. Social media marketing IS the next big thing, these days you can’t afford not to be in it.
    thanks again Andy

  4. Thanks a million, like Aldo, we’ve also been very slow to the social networking scene. Attempting to soak up all the knowledge we can on the topic and get our clients involved and show them the importance – wish us luck and thanks again for this post!

Regarding The Video. That was interesting and a just a little scary! I guess I’m like Aldo in the above post in that I’m late to the party!

I have been debating whether to start a Facebook or Twitter account for my company. I was thinking was it worth it. Well watching this video just made it very clear to me that I need to get on the “Social Media” bandwagon!

    Gail,

If those are your choices, start with Facebook. It’s straightforward and probably makes a good first step for you.
