GM triple logo Get Married to launch its Third Season on a New NetworkATLANTA, October 19, 2009 – In the new year, exciting opportunities arise for Get Married Media, an integrated tri-media wedding planning resource with national platforms online, on television and in print.  Get Married announced that starting January 2, 2010, its half-hour television series will air on a new network – WE tv, every Saturday at 9:30am ET/PT.

Available in nearly 74 million homes, WE tv is the premier source for women looking to satisfy their curiosity with fascinating, original stories and entertaining content.  The series will also simulcast to an additional three million on Wedding Central, a 24/7 multiplatform, interactive programming service devoted to weddings, dating and romance. The January start is ideal, due to the high volume of holiday engagements.

“Being part of a women-centric network dedicated to the wedding genre and in the company of other great wedding programming allows us to reach a more targeted audience of brides with fresh and exciting content,” said Stacie Francombe, founder and president of Get Married Media. “As part of WE tv’s exciting Saturday morning wedding block, Get Married’s TV series will creatively entertain, inform and inspire brides about every moment of their celebration.”

As part of its fresh approach to inspiring brides and its commitment to reinterpreting the rules, Get Married’s season three will take media integration and viewer interaction to the next level with features on real brides, wedding professionals and key wedding experts as part of an array of inspiring challenges.  Get Married’s program will focus on identifying and matching a bride’s personality with her unique bridal style.  With more entertaining segments, the show will seamlessly integrate with Get Married’s other online and print platforms – getmarried.com and its recently-launched Get Married magazine – providing additional and unique videos, images, contests and articles as well as the opportunity for brides to provide input in way of blogs, polls and surveys.

Andy’s observation: This announcement did not include any information about the hosts on Get Married TV. David Tutera hosted season one. Colin Cowie is the season two host, accompanied by co-host Deanna Pappas. When asked about the host for season three, The Wedding Marketing Blog was assured that a separate announcement is forthcoming, shortly.

Coincidentally, David Tutera currently hosts My Fair Wedding (a wedding reality show) on We TV. That show just started airing recently
