Jim Cerone presents "The Perfect Host"

MMES (Midwest Mobile Entertainer Seminars) kicked off this afternoon with a presentation from Wedding Entertainment Director, Jim Cerone.

Jim’s talk (presented in two parts), “The Perfect Host,” is an aspiration, not an absolute. I had the privilege of hearing ‘Part 1′ of the presentation, this summer, when he and I were both speakers during the Midwest leg of the Mobile Beat Seminar Tour.

Jim’s standards and attention to detail are second to no one. His presentation comes ‘lessons learned,’ and the evolution of incredibly both complex, and simple standards.

Jim stresses preparation, beyond all else; however, one of his key strategies for success is connection and communication with all the venue service personnel and fellow wedding professionals working the day of, the wedding.

After hearing his presentation, it should be no surprise that Jim earns roughly double what most of his competitor’s do, in his native, Indianapolis, IN.

Jim comes across as, perhaps, one of the warmest and most sincere individuals you’ll ever meet. That’s because he IS. Not all disc jockey entertainers can become as polished as Jim Cerone. But all should aspire to.

I will be presenting a post-dinner keynote, this evening: Marketing and Selling to the 21st Century Bride. Tomorrow, it’s Blogging Your Way To Success.

I look forward to a couple of highly provocative days in Wichita, KS.

Jim’s also a wealth of music info. I bet he’s created at least 1000 itunes playlists… Ask him to open his iTunes for you?

  2. Ron Ruth says:

Always a pleasure to hear Jim speak. I’m so glad he was able to sneak in Pt. 3 before the conference closed.
