Wedding Marketing Walls: Part Two – Serenity

Part two of Wedding Marketing Walls is about not being all-business. To be effective in one’s office, it’s important to remember to breathe. To take a break for phones, email, your computer, and just recharge.

In my office, I’ve reserved the wall opposite my desk, completely, for serenity. It’s the first wall you see when you walk into the office. I’ve kept it clear, and am ready to mount a full-wall mural of a Hawaii beach scene.

Top to bottom, left to right, THE WHOLE WALL.

When I need a 15-minute break in the action, I can just rotate my chair 180 degrees, and play the Ocean Waves CD  (Yes, I really have one) for full soothing, transformational effect.

Your wall might be the Caribbean, Tahiti, ski slopes in Canada or Utah, Fenway Park, Yankee Stadium or Wrigley. It might be a collection of poster art. There is no one answer.

I chose to mount a full wall mural for its dominant, life size effect. You can’t ignore it when you walk into the room. It absolutely puts a smile on one’s face. It radiates ‘balance.’ It teleports you into the setting, thinking back to your last visit, or planning the next trip.
