PinExt Whats distracting you? Part One

flea market clutter 300 Whats distracting you? Part OneIn a world of ever-expanding choices, media, and the like, it’s all to easy to lose your business focus. For this post, the issues of email, social media, and similar distractions will be set aside. The focus of this post is on a few elements of your business that you control.

Creeping Expansion

In an effort for expanding your brand, its revenue, and profitability, over time, you may have added more products and services. Now, I challenge you. Are some of  these profit centers, just churning dollars, or a losing proposition?

Don’t answer the question too quickly, with a gut reaction? Do you really know the answer?

When we become stretched too thin, it often takes away focus from our core strengths and profit centers. Is this happening to your business?

In the 12 months, what you products and services should be quietly phased out, or even abruptly discontinued? What has run its course?

Do the critical thinking and analysis. Then, unceremoniously refocus on products and services that have actual value in your marketplace, today.

It’s amazing how much easier it is to focus when you remove some of the distractions.

Great article, we just did this exact thing a year ago. We spent months developing new products that NO ONE was interested in.

Then about a year ago, we streamlined and I think its worked out well.

    Thanks again
