Do groundhogs run your world?
This evening, I was trying to explain the concept of Groundhog Day to our friend Marine (she is from France).
The more I tried to explain this American tradition of groundhog-as-fortune teller, the more ridiculous it sounded. At least she didn’t laugh at me.
Then, it dawned on me that there are many varieties of groundhogs in our world. We call them pundits and economists. Newscasts are less filled with facts, than predictions.
We’re now into February. Just want to make sure you’re working your wedding marketing plan and not listening to groundhogs (or any facsimiles).
