In 1958, an organization called ‘The Banquet Managers Guild’ was formed at the Waldorf Astoria in New York. Subsequently, it formed its first chapter in Philadelphia, PA.
Today, that organization has evolved into NACE, the National Association of Catering Executives, with chapters across the United States, Canada, and South Africa.
This week, NACE chapters, everywhere, will individually and collectively celebrate the 50th Anniversary in themed events in their local areas.
These individual celebrations will be documented for the biggest celebration of all, the NACE 50th Anniversary Conference in Philadelphia, PA, August 3rd - 6th. The conference, dubbed: Experience 2008! The Future of Catering and Event Design will attract industry professionals from all points to share knowledge, inspiration, and cutting edge ideas.
The conference should prove to be a magic event for wedding, catering, and event professionals of all kinds.

Philly had an AMAZING 50th Anniversary party hosted by feastivities, who knocked it out of the park as always!
Can’t wait to see all of you here in August!
