It doesn&#8217;t always work out that way.</p>
<p><img src="http://weddingmarketing.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/brandon-mulnix1.jpg" border="0" alt="Brandon-Mulnix.jpg" width="125" height="165" align="right" />In the case of the <strong><a href="http://www.westmichiganweddingassociation.org" rel="nofollow" >West Michigan Wedding Association</a></strong>, its President, photographer <strong>Brandon Mulnix</strong> (<strong><a href="http://modernphotographics.com/" rel="nofollow" >Modern Photographics</a></strong>), the association got its money&#8217;s worth, and then some.</p>
<p>The <strong><a href="http://www.westmichiganweddingassociation.org/" rel="nofollow" >West Michigan Wedding Association</a></strong> not only networks among its members, has a solid member website, but it also promotes its own bridal show.</p>
<p><strong>Brandon</strong> not only attended all the sessions and networked during social events and breaks, but found the time to record and post a series <strong>video podcasts</strong> with presenters from the <strong><a href="http://www.weddingmba.com" rel="nofollow" >Wedding MBA</a>.</strong></p>
<p>Members, back home, were treated to a timely, in-person, interview, recorded on Brandon&#8217;s laptop.</p>
<p>Over the next week or two, <strong>The Wedding Marketing Blog</strong> will be posting <strong>Brandon&#8217;s podcasts</strong>, to share with you.</p>

<p>You now have multiple reasons to check out Jeff&#8217;s websites. This week, the show begins its regular schedule.</p>
<p>I had suggested that some wedding businesses might benefit from advertising on the show, locally. In fact, in viewing the broadcast, <a href="http://www.menswearhouse.com" rel="nofollow"  title="The Mens Wearhouse" target="_blank">The Men&#8217;s Wearhouse</a> was one of those businesses that advertised, here, in Las Vegas.</p>
<p>The show did not get great reviews, but it is not a mass-market type of show. I&#8217;m convinced it will appeal, specifically, to people involved in weddings: participants and industry.</p>
<p>If you haven&#8217;t viewed the show, yet, make it a point to see or record it. And take a close look at which local advertisers you see in your market. Please feel free to post them in the comment area.</p>

<p>Before you say <em>you can&#8217;t afford it</em>, you should check with your local Fox affiliate. It may be too pricey for a micro business, but perfectly reasonable for a chain of formalwear shops, for example.</p>
<p>This program aside, there are many niche programs for a wedding audience. It makes sense to investigate all the options. Don&#8217;t you agree?</p>
